Forever Faithful

Forever Faithful’s next gathering is on March 19 from 5 to 7pm. Dinner begins at 5pm followed by a time of worship and a presentation on the "Shipwrecks of Door County."

The age of shipwrecks in Door County ranges from 1841, when the vessel Dolphin sank off Pilot Island, to 1955, when the fishing tug Sea Queen burned to the waterline. During this time, there have been a staggering 215 shipwrecks surrounding the Door Peninsula. Why did these vessels sink? How did it happen? Where are these wrecks located? Why did the wrecks end? Join us to learn about the history of Door County Shipwrecks with Brennan Christianson, Collections Coordinator of the Door County Maritime Museum.
