Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
We achieve our mission through partnering with parents in their God-given responsibility to raise their children in the ways of the Lord. We seek to teach children to know, value, and apply the Word of God, nurturing a Biblical worldview in children through prayer, teaching, and godly role models. We equip children to live out their faith in the world.
Upcoming Events
Time: 10:00 AM, during the Contemporary Worship Service
On Sunday mornings, children who are ages 3 to kindergarten enjoy Bible stories, activities, and playtime to foster community and relationships while learning about following Jesus. These classes lay a Biblical foundation in the lives of our little ones through Bible stories from throughout the Old and New Testaments.
Time: 10:00 AM, during the Contemporary Worship Service
If you have a child who is in grades 1-6, we would love to have them join our Sunday morning groups! Students have a time of large group worship and gathering before breaking out into classrooms by grade level. Our teachers use Bible stories, activities, Scripture memorization, and classroom discussion to dive deeper into the topic for each week.
On your child's first visit with us, we will ask you to fill out an informational card with your phone number, address, and any pertinent medical information or allergies your child might have. We value your privacy, and will not share this information with anyone.
If you are visiting eFree, your children are more than welcome in our Sunday programs! We just ask that you register them when they get to their class. If you know you'll be visiting and would like someone to walk you through your first time here just contact us and we can set that up for you!
Children with special needs are warmly welcomed at Sheboygan eFree! If your child has a special need, please reach out to us so we can come up with an individualized plan on how we can best minister to your child.
Please, if your child shows any symptoms of illness, keep them home. We will look forward to seeing them when they are well! We are doing our part to provide a clean and healthy environment, though it is a team effort!
Some things parents can do to help:
Provides foundational teaching for preschoolers, ages 3 (by September 1 and potty-trained) and 4. Games, puppets, crafts, awards, and other activities create a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand-in-hand.
Offers fun with God’s Word for grades 5K-2. The evenings are filled with fun games, music, teaching, and Bible memory.
Leads students in grades 3-6 through a deeper dive into the Bible. T&T engages kids by answering their questions about God and the Bible, while we study the meaning of God’s grace.
Awana is an acronym that stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is based on 2 Timothy 2:15 - "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth".
Costs per child are $18 each year for registration and $12 each year for a handbook. Uniforms are available at a separate cost but are not required.
Please note that we never want costs to keep a child from attending Awana. If you are unable to afford some or all of the Awana expenses, please email for a scholarship.

While we do not baptize infants, we do observe Parent-Child Dedications, which are designed to thank God for the blessing of children and ask God to bring the child to saving faith in Jesus Christ.
The Parent-Child Dedication requires parents who have committed their way to the Lord and who are asking for wisdom, direction and grace in their parenting. In a Parent-Child dedication, we also ask the church family to be actively and faithfully involved in helping the parents raise their children in the nurture and wisdom of God.
We typically hold Parent-Child dedications at least twice each year.
Elder of Children's Ministries
It’s a blessing and honor to serve with the Sheboygan eFree Children’s Ministry team as we set out to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We see our role as supporting parents in accomplishing this ever important mission. As a parent of three, I understand the challenges families face today. I also know the amazing impact the true living God can have in helping us (parents) love, teach and train these children in the way they should go. Stop in and check us out. We look forward to partnering with you!
