About the Nursery
Check-In Procedures
On your child's first visit with us, we will ask you to fill out an informational card with your phone number, address, and any pertinent medical information or allergies your child might have. We value your privacy, and will not share this information with anyone.
During each visit you will be given a pick up tag that coordinates with your child’s name tag. When you come to pick up your child from the nursery, you will return this pick up tag. This helps us to be sure children are being picked-up by the correct parent.
When you check in, you are welcome to leave a diaper bag, snacks, or other comfort items for your child, although our nursery is well-stocked with toys, books, snacks, changing table, and toddler restroom.
Visitors
Visitors' children are more than welcome in our nursery! We just ask that you register them at the check in desk, outside the door, when they arrive. If you know you'll be visiting and would like someone to walk you through your first time here just email us and we would be happy to set that up for you!
Special Needs
Children with special needs are warmly welcomed at eFree! If your child has a special need, please share with how we can best care for your child while in the nursery.
Illness
Please, if your child shows any symptoms of illness, keep them home. We will look forward to seeing them when they are well! We are doing our part to provide a clean and healthy environment, though it is a team effort!
Some things parents can do to help:
- If possible, have only one parent (preferably the same parent) drop off and pick up your child on Sunday mornings. This will help limit foot traffic and the number of people gathered at classroom entrances and exits before and after the service.
- Please have your child wash their hands before and after they attend class.
Graduation
Children graduate from the nursery after turning two, or when they are developmentally ready for Bible stories, games, and playtime in the Preschool room. You may ask a nursery staff member anytime about your child's readiness to move to the preschool room.
