Groups & Classes
All of our groups and classes have one goal in mind: to multiply committed followers of Jesus Christ.
The Bible calls a committed follower of Jesus a “disciple.” Sometimes you might see the terms “Disciple” or “Discipler.” A Disciple is one who is committed to follow Jesus, and a Discipler is one who is showing others how to follow Jesus. Disciplers are Disciples, too! We never stop growing, we never stop learning to be more like Jesus Christ.
We use the term “multiply” to indicate that the mission for every follower of Jesus Christ is to call our neighbors to Christ and show them how to follow him. As we grow, every Disciple is called to become a Discipler. Our “Groups” and “Classes” have the same goal but get to that goal using different formats.
Life Groups
Life Groups are a key place in the church where Disciples of Jesus start sharing their lives one another. [NOTE: Care, Share, Pray and Bear Witness.] Life Groups are a group of 8-14 committed Disciples who meet in homes twice per month during the school year for the purpose of working out the Sunday morning exposition of Scripture in our everyday lives. Classes
Classes are ongoing studies in the Scriptures which are designed to help us know and love God and changing our character so that we become more life Jesus. Group classes will have a clear theme such as ‘Studying the Book of James’, or ‘Church Membership,’ or “Baptism.’
Some classes are designed for to attend from beginning to end, some classes are one or two weeks, and other classes can be joined at any time. You can “drop in” and check them out any time. Some classes focus on the needs of men, or women, specifically. Check the church calendar to see a current list of classes.

Equip Classes
Equip is an ongoing, Sunday morning class which meets at 9:30am. For some people, this is the most convenient time to be a part of a Bible study. Equip truly offers excellent help for all of to become more like Jesus!
We want to "Equip" you to be strong in your love for Jesus Christ, to lead in your own home, and to reach out to neighbors with the love of God. The Equip title is based on Ephesians 4:11-16, especially verse 12 which says, "to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for building up the body of Christ”.
Pro tip: there are many, many hours of Equip on our YouTube channel under playlists, and we post new segments almost every week. We trust this will help each of us stay updated. Plan to come in person whenever possible.

One-on-One Discipleship
Every new follower of Jesus Christ needs someone to teach them the basics, or the foundations of Christianity. The Bible is the Word of God, and a good Discipler will show a growing Disciple what the Bible says about God, the Bible, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and how God leads us and loves us, and what he wants from us.
If you are a new follower of Jesus, we suggest you start with 2-3 month friendship with a Discipler who will make sure you have the foundations of the Christian faith so that you can build your whole life on Jesus Christ. Please contact the church office to express interest in One-on-One Discipleship.
