Men’s Ministries seeks to support the church’s mission and vision of multiplying committed followers of Jesus Christ:
We're excited about defining and inspiring obedience in each role that God has placed us. We examine and apply Scriptures to form strategies in each of these roles, and we use Scriptures as offensive and defensive weapons against temptation and sin.
We invite you to join us! Check out the opportunities below:
Wild Game Banquet -- Friday, February 8, 6pm
All men, and young men ages 10 and up, are invited to an evening of fellowship and connecting with other guys as we enjoy the bounty of hunted game from the past year and encourage each other in our walks with the Lord. Whether you hunt/fish or not, you’re invited to join us!
First, we’ll gather for a shared meal. Whatever you have taken out of the woods or waters this year, make a great dish to pass and bring it along. If you do not hunt, you can bring a salad or a dessert. Following dinner, we’ll hear from Daryl Christensen, who is a longstanding fishing guide, fishing educator, author, and one of the nation’s top competitive walleye fisherman.
While there is no cost to attend this event, we ask everyone to bring a dish to pass and to consider a donation to eFree Men’s Ministry in order to help fund future events.
Please contact Denny R. for more information.
During the School Year:
- Men's Prayer Huddle meets every Wednesday at 6:30am in the church library
- Wednesday morning Men's Bible Study meets at 9:30am in room 109. All men are welcome to attend as we open God's Word for spiritual growth and Christian fellowship. This year, we'll be studying I & II Samuel. For more details, contact Tom Rice.
- Men's Stepping Up Video Study meets Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the South Fellowship Hall. Discipleship is a key building block in the life of every Christian man. It's through discipleship that we learn to follow Jesus, take up our cross, love our families sacrificially, and influence others. Led by Jeff Smyth, we'll seek to apply Scripture to our lives so that every man walks in strength, courage, kindness and truth.
- Opportunities to mentor students and children are available in our Awana and Student Ministries programs on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. If you are interested in serving in our Awana program, contact Yvonne Mooney. If you are interested in serving in our Student Ministries program, contact Pastor Aaron Brown.
