Women's Ministries

Women's Ministries seeks to support the church's mission of multiplying committed followers of Jesus Christ.

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior . . . and so train the young women . . . Titus 2:3-5 ESV

We are committed to the Word as our authority, and we are passionate about nurturing a culture in which Titus 2 discipleship (older women teaching younger women) can thrive. We provide opportunities, resources, and support for women of all ages to connect with one another and the Lord Jesus Christ.

 February Scripture Passage

Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you,

and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all,

as we do for you, so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness

before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

Seeking Him

Women's Prayer Initiative

Throughout the New Testament, believers are given instructions on how to treat one another. Love one another. Honor one another. Serve one another. Pray for one another. In our flesh, we’re prone to do these things when we’re extended love, honor, and service. But scripture is clear: “As you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.” Luke 6:31

It’s here that we reflect the heart of our Savior.

This year, we’re prayerfully considering this call to love as Christ does —to show His character in how we speak and extend grace in all our dealings and interactions.

Each month, we’ll highlight a “one another” of Scripture by providing an encouraging and practical article for your edification. We will also provide Bible verses that you can pray back to the Lord.

As we embark on this journey together, we ask that God use His Word to shape and refine our hearts, making them more like His. May we be a radiant reflection of Him as we extend love and grace to others.

 February 2026

Nichole Tittle

Happy February, my friends! We stand at the turning of the calendar to a month surrounded by hearts, candy, and countless ways to express “I love you”. But as I’ve been meditating on our topic this month, “Increasing in Love Toward One Another”, I know in my heart that these sentiments, while they may be sincere and sweet, do not fully reflect the depth and sacrifice that truly embody what it looks like to love one another.

In August, we started this journey of praying for one another as we grow up together into the healthy and beautiful body of Christ. This month, we are going to circle back to this topic of “loving one another” to examine if we are “increasing” in our love for one another.

The emphasis is not simply on the affection we have toward one another, but in the actions and words toward one another that reflect a faith that is growing abundantly.

The way that we grow in our love for others only comes by our rooted understanding of God’s amazing character and His love toward us. One thing I know to be true about God and His Word is that when I am praising Him, it is almost impossible not to see myself accurately in light of who He is, which leads my heart to be convicted about my own pride and self-sufficiency.

A passage that I’ve used to incorporate praise into my prayer time over the past several months is Psalm 103.  There are several sentences in this passage (quoted from the New Living Translation) that are, in His mercy and by His grace, indelibly etched on my heart, and I pray that they are changing my heart’s posture before God and others.

  • “May I never forget the good things He does for me” (verse 2)
  • “He forgives all my sins” (verse 3)
  • “The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love” (verse 8)
  • “He does not constantly accuse us nor remain angry forever” (verse 9)
  • “He does not deal harshly with us” (verse 10)
  • “He is tender and compassionate” (verse 13)
  • “He knows how weak we are, He remembers that we are only dust” (verse 14)

Considering Jesus’ command to “love one another in the same way that I love you” (John 13), am I reflecting these truths about God’s love for me?

In full transparency, I thought that I loved others decently well. But the Holy Spirit has been using His precise and effective Word to perform delicate, deep surgery in my heart, exposing attitudes that absolutely do not reflect His character.

  • Am I eager to do good…to those who I don’t feel “deserve” it?
  • Do I have a heart that is forgiving, or do I mentally rehash the wrongs that others have done?
  • Am I slow at getting frustrated with others? Or am I generous in patience as I consider how infinitely patient God has been with me?
  • Am I gentle and compassionate, remembering that I am no less broken and imperfect than the person I am interacting with?
  • Do I bear in mind that I cannot understand the motives of another person, or the weight of life that they might be carrying and wrestling with?
  • Do I stop and remember that another person in my life is hungering for the same healing and grace that I myself deeply desire?

Maybe this isn’t a struggle for you as much as it is for me. If that is the case, pray for me. If these questions brought to light your own heart attitudes, know that I am praying for you. Let’s have the courage together to examine our hearts and ask ourselves if we are growing in the ways that we love one another. And then, because of His good work in our hearts, we can echo the bookend phrases of Psalm 103, “Let all that I am praise the LORD!”

O LORD, we truly and deeply praise you for Your goodness in bringing to light the areas of our lives that do not reflect Your holiness. As we prayerfully focus this month on growing to have a sincere love for one another, will you please open our eyes to see where you want to establish and root us in the truth of who You are and Your merciful love for us? Will you please shine a spotlight on our hearts to show us the opportunities that You give us to act in love toward one another? We seek to reflect You as we grow up together into the body of Christ and we are confident in Your promise to finish Your good work. Amen.
