About Our Studies
Bible studies seek to teach us what God says to us in the Bible so that we can submit our lives, desires and behavior to him. Bible studies might be organized around who we are (a women’s study, men’s study, or study for young adults) or simply be a general study open to all (such as our Sunday morning “Equip” study). Peruse the various studies below and choose a study and time which works great for you. Our studies are all “drop-in studies,” which means that you are welcome to drop-in and check the study out any time that works for you.
All of our Bible Studies, Life Groups and Care ministries (like “GriefShare,” and “DivorceCare”) have one goal: to produce mature followers of Jesus in community. That’s another way of saying, “Multiplying Committed Followers of Jesus.”
The bottom line: we are better together. We learn to follow Jesus in small, Bible-saturated communities. And we long for everyone to follow Jesus more closely.
Life Groups
Life Groups are a key place in the church where Disciples of Jesus start sharing their lives with one another.
Groups consist of 8-14 committed Disciples who meet in homes during the school year to apply the Sunday morning exposition of Scripture to their everyday lives.
They are a place of fellowship, where we share Christ in common.
- They are a place of friendship, where we encourage one another.
- They are a place of prayer, where we seek God’s face together.
- And they are a place of accountability, where we grow in God’s grace together.
Equip Classes
Sunday morning electives designed to build up the body of Christ
Equip meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30am, and sessions are recorded for your convenience. We want to “Equip” you to be strong in your love for Jesus Christ, to lead in your own home, and to reach out to neighbors with the love of God.
The Equip title is based on Ephesians 4:11-16, especially verse 12 which says, “to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for building up the body of Christ”. View past sessions listed below, or find even more Equip series on our YouTube channel under playlists.
