Mark 10:17-22: Goodness

In Mark 10:17-22, Jesus confronts a man about his understanding of true goodness. No one is good but God alone. Therefore, there is no work that a person could do on their own to inherit eternal life.

Jesus calls us to follow Him wholly as His disciples on the road to the cross. Only in a relationship with Jesus will we find the eternal life we seek. Only in a relationship with Jesus can we produce good works by the Holy Spirit.
