Genesis: Good News From the Start

From the beginning, the Bible addresses the most crucial questions we still ask today: “Where did we come from?” “Who am I?” “What went wrong?” “How do we fix it?” And, “How shall we live?” God answered these questions long before we could ask them.

As we travel through the chapters of God’s Word, we discover that God is the all-powerful Creator and all-wise Designer. From the start, He addresses the questions of the sanctity of human life, what it means to be male and female, His intentions for marriage, and why we (should) love to work, among myriads of other topics. From the start, He describes what went wrong and how He alone would fix it. He made everything “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Even through human rebellion, God graciously delivered good news from the start.
