Acts 2:42-47: Foundations of the Church

There exist some non-negotiables for the people of God including trusting Jesus Christ alone (which leads us to repentance) and committing to the mission to which he has called us.

In our passage today, Luke describes the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
